Mudcloth is an original Kwanzaa wrapping paper design from Inkwell Fine Art Prints, inspired by bògòlanfini, the traditional hand-dyed, mud-painted textile of Mali in West Africa.
Six repeating bands of geometric marks, including zigzags, dots, crosses, triangles, and diamonds, create a rhythmic pattern with the character of hand-painted artwork. Rendered in cream, gold, red, and green against a deep charcoal-black background, the design brings together traditional textile inspiration and a clean, contemporary aesthetic.
Understated yet distinctive, Mudcloth offers a beautiful alternative to more colorful holiday wrapping paper and works just as well for celebrations throughout the year.
